It's true.
You can kill anything that's livin' with your gun. +Appreciate.

Speaking personally, I've always very much hated all voice acting. I would always turn it off, except when the game wouldn't let me. If I wanted to ehar humans talking, I would have left the housase, I say.

Not really anything else worth replying for, but if you're changing the plot, the name, and possibly the game mechanics, is it still going to be Deliverance, or just a spiritual successor?

Yeah, I'd probably try playing it.
Rather than having 'warriors' use skills that consume health or 'stamina' (Shin Megami Tensei comes to mind), taking into consideration the spell creation funsies of the original Deliverance, it would be best to either let skills/spells remain consuming one resource, or possibly allowing 'bloodcasting' with some skills, consuming either an amount or a percentage of HP, based off their power level.

I will note that it seems like this has come up before, and nothing ever happened with it.
I would recommend that if you are planning to 'remake' or whatever Deliverance, to make sure you do not monetize it, because intellectual property yadda yadda laws. If you wish to monetize, be sure to use fully original sources. If I knew more about anything, I'd probably help more. B:

I remember some time ago that there was a group of figs that tried to make an original game, of which I was part for a time. You could seek some of those individuals out, assuming you aren't insanely multitalented and able to compile art, music, programming, and so on without going mad.

Fire: Destroyer of junk, savior of space?
I live in the country, but not way out there. We don't burn things like what you've described (...yet), but we do take trashbags and burn them in an old, burned-out barn foundation in our yard.

Apparently, said barn once existed, and the house I call home was once a farm house, long before my mother purchased it.
Also apparently, some time before she purchased it, the barn (which was in terrible disrepair as I understand it) was struck by lightning, thus burning down.
It was known to be a sight to see, while it was going, but that was something like a decade or two before I was born.

Anyway, we burn excrement in our back yard.
One dry year, it had rained somewhat on a given morning, and my mother and I took trash out and set it aflame. How wrong we were. The grass in the barn lot was dry enough to catch aflame, and had it gotten out of control, could have spread to the nearby field, which would have been very, very bad, for obvious reasons of paying penalties. Also it'd just suck, y'know.

When I was young and my father was still around, my parents would occasionally do a controlled burn of the grass in our back yard, but those days are over, and with nary a lawnmower nor motivation to machete it down, my yard is a summer's drought away from being a blazing inferno of death waiting to happen. B:

Also, fire and stuff.
Not sure how I got inspired from this post, honestly. :B

Very interesting stories of fire! I appreciate your input. :3

I, too, experienced the fire in the sky being blocked on Monday, although not much of it was covered, it seemed to my eyes, viewing the event as a reflection in a cereal box. Still fairly neato.

So, like, fire.
Fire's neat and stuff, y'know?
Tell some stories about fire. I dare you.
Preferably try to keep this light-hearted, but I'll be frank: Fire's dangerous stuff, cool as it is. It does things that are depressing.
Try to stick to 'fun' or 'neato' stories, though.
Unless you don't want to, I guess.
I can't force you.

I have a woodstove in my house. We use it to heat the place during the winter. I generally have to split the wood for it, when it's too large to fit through the door, and bring it in to put in. I enjoy watching it, although I'm not very good at starting them.

I've witnessed a few bonfires in my life. Those are pretty cool. I never really took part in setting them up, though. It's fun to sit around them and talk to people, though. Mostly because all the bonfires I was ever at were at night, and nobody could see each other.

...My stories suck. B:

Pfeh. They're both evil. One of them said words, and the other didn't. Inherently evil traits.

Hey!
I've never been camping ~properly~. It'd be an interesting experience though, I guess, but I'm deathly afraid of/generally hate insects, so that would be a problem.

I'm lucky enough to live near a forest, and I've ventured into it a bit. Not good camping territory, but it is pretty midwest forest-y, I guess. The only reason it's there is because there's a big ravine that would make it no good for farming, I guarantee it.
I would be willing to rough it in there with a sleeping bag and my bug spray, so, yeah, I'd go camping, to a given definition of it at least.
Forum: When are YOU on Alora Fane?

No poll because that would be tedious. Sorry poll-lovers.

When do you get on the site? Generally just taking info, preferably so people can talk when it's most convenient for them. If this was more interesting, this post would be longer!

When you are on Alora Fane, what times do you come online, generally? Answers in your favorite time scheme, Site Time. You can go to the chat to find out when dat is. It's +6 Central Time, which is also my time.

When I'm online, it's generally around 3-6ish in the morning Site Time, although I'm occasionally on around noon Site Time.
