That whole "talky thing" actually reminded me of some videos I saw made with Plotagon. I think even past the stories you can make with the "talky thing", the real product could be the engine you use to make it. Plotagon is pretty rudimentary itself, but that's actually part of its charm (it's often used to create goofy "budget" versions of popular shows/movies/games).

That said, Plotagon is a "freemium" app, so you'd probably need to take that into account when setting your price point. Making a few talky videos could be a way to simultaneously build up the Alora Fane world and market an application of this type.

Oh, I suppose I was unclear about my intentions with that! I'd be using it to make the scenes/animations/conversations myself, but I wouldn't make the actual tool available to people. It's less about making something to sell, and more about producing regular content, which videos could be if I could make two or three a week. So it'd mostly about building and keeping an audience.
