The use of symbols is pretty cool, there's so much thought and reason behind why things are the way they are. I'm sort of trying to do the same with my game, but it's more for characters representing an abstract thought. This at best are a mess xD

For me, I am not a storyteller in the slightest, but I love listening to stories. So for my game I am writing it similarly to how you described writing Taming Dreams where you have points ABC...HIJ...M..O...ST..X..Z written out but still need to get the missing letters(plots) in. Though with my game things are more complicated becasue of the branching naritive and 9 endings. Theres no neat way of writing things out on a word docs.

When it comes to making the story things seems to come in bursts for me where I have an idea for a moment, but when I write the script and things catch uo, I realize that the moment doesn't quite align with how I wrote things as a lead up to the moment. So yeah story writing is a mess on my end. I have the skeleton of an idea down, just the fine details are very messy. And actual dialouge isn't present.
