I mean, considering how much I enjoyed Beast Signer and Miasmon, I am still eager to play a monster catching game that you design. I sort of came up with one myself, but I never did finish that. If you wish, I could tell you about the monsters I created, and I would definitely let you use any of them that you like. (Fun fact: A couple of them would have been in the Mardek Continuation as either mini-bosses or enemies, but not anymore.)
I'll also mention the fact that there is no problem with having a monster catching game that you can start quickly AND has a grand story. It works for some games I played.
By the way, I should ask you. Have you played other Pokemon clones, like Nexomon and Coromon? I highly recommend Coromon to you.

I should also mention that I too, am also struggling with my current project. I'm recovering nicely from the upper respiratory infection, but now I have new worries hitting me. So, I understand your frustration about trying to finish what you've worked so hard on. I remember how hard you worked on Mardek 3 and how you weren't sure if you would finish, but you still did anyway and it was worth it to so many people. You may get negativity, but you still get positivity, too. And I still have your back. Developers are always overworked and tired. Take all the time you need.
