I don't have a whole lot to say, I've always liked the Belief stuff and you already know that, so I'll just reiterate that.
Yes, I like Belief! I like social encounters being gamified through RPG mechanics! Also, cards! Weirdly it seems that most social RPG battle systems use cards. Though this one just has skills that look like cards, there's no deck.
It sounds like this one would be all prefabricated then, rather than an editor sort of game. You should keep things small and simple, I'll be happy to test it when you have a working prototype!
And yes, I do always talk to all NPCs and examine all the tiles! Twice, even, just to be sure I don't miss anything!
