About Me

Nothing much other than that I am an artist in a slowly-progressing self training. I am not the best but am aspiring to practice and refine the skills as much as possible.

Hey, Duog. I just wanted to apologize for some of the times I've gotten irritable at you. I... don't know why I do get irritable sometimes, I guess it's mostly my stubbornness. It feels good to say though, as I'm getting my guilt off my chest. I don't hate you, and I'm sorry I gave that impression. It may be water under the bridge to you, but I just wanted to say that to clear it up... yeah.

I don't know... I've been dealing with a lot recently, so I just figured it'd be best to get that off my mind. Guilt plagues me a lot. But enough in the unpleasant territory, how is your art coming along? I've sort of had a recent surge of creativity, so that's nice, but I'm still not very good. Could you offer some advice on some techniques to improve? I know things like using a less dark indent, practicing proportions, tracing references with slight modifications, hatching/crosshatching, color mixing and all that stuff... but I have trouble with shading. I know I need practice for that too, but... it's always been a struggle for me, and I'd like to ask so I can get some advice. Even when I take art classes and practice for two hours a day for a month or two and then not stopping afterwards I can never get it quite right...

So yeah... just wanted to say that and ask that question. Hope your life is getting on track, mine is starting to, and that's nice.
